Dallin installs Flexline Hydration System on Bike

Dallin has been riding his bike a lot lately. Though he's only 11 he's taking it pretty seriously. For right now I would rather he focus on staying in control of his bike and not having to worry about details like how to pull his water bottle from the rack, open, drink, and return it, all while shifting and dodging cars. I had the opportunity to test the Flexline Hydration system. I decided that a great test would be if Dallin could read and follow the directions and install it all by himself. I handed him the box, and within 5 minutes he had it installed and working. The diagram is apparently obvious enough, and while it might be nice to have a couple more of the little velcro retainers, it seemed stable enough with only one. He ran to change into his riding clothes and took off for a trip around the block to test it out. He got the position of the tube just right, and could lean into it and drink with ease. Competition at All American Gymnastics May 2012

Five year old Tanith was recently bumped up to the next level class, and got to participate in this competition on Saturday. She had a lot of fun, maybe a bit more than we did as proud parents watching her and cheering her performance. We were behind the glass upstairs which made pictures a bit blurry, but here they are for those who want to see. She brought home a handful of ribbons in red and white, and a really awesome medal. Yellowstone Weekend - Paint Pots and Geysers

We spent two days wandering around to some classic and not so classic sites. We loved walking along the boardwalks and trails to the many "paint pots" and geysers and fumaroles. We took a lot of pics and got to inhale the fragrant scent of sulfur and minerals. In several spas you have to pay to sniff that stuff. We got in 20,000 step and more days according to our trackers. You didn't think we'd go the whole weekend without knowing, did you?
